  1. Been trying to order a 20+” 9mm liner for 3 years. Was told you’d do a run towards the end of the year, any chance I could get an updated estimate on when those will be available?

  2. Good afternoon, Just an update. We are almost done with the 45-70 adapters we hope to have the 12ga 18″ and 24″ as well as some 18″ 450 Bushmaster ready to list on 11-11-2023. Next we hope to start working on some 410 adapters. Thank you all for your support.

  3. Good afternoon, Just an update. We hope to have some 20ga to 357/38, 9mm, 380acp and 38 Super in 18″ and 9mm and 357/38 in 11″ versions ready on 9/30. We are also having supply issues on the steel for the 45-70 so we have started revisiting the 410 to 9mm and possibly 357 adapters. No promises but because of the high demand we are going to try our best to make it work. Thank you all again for your business and support you are very much appreciated.

  4. G’day! I am looking to expand my hunting opportunities and was thinking that a percussion barrel for my 12 ga in .45 or .50 cal..would be a good addition to my arsenal. The gun would become an in-line rifle and would be loaded like any other muzzle loader..
Any plans for such a barrel?

  5. I would love a .308, .30-06, .303 Brit,, 8mm Mauser, 7.62×39, 7.62x54R chamber adapter chambered for the .327 Federal. In rifles the chamber pressures should not be a problem and it could use all the other straight cased .32s, like H&R, Short/Long, ACP, giving great versatility. Any chance of that happening?

  6. Good Afternoon. Wanted to give an update of what we are currently working on, Hopefully we will be able to have the following ready 8/26/2023.
    12ga to 9mm in 18 and 11″
    12ga to 9×23 Largo in 18″
    12ga to 357 Magnum in 18 and 11″
    12 to 357 Sig in 18″
We are also testing the 35 Remington rifle round and the 357 Maximum if they test well we will have a very limited number of those also.
Thanks again for all of your business and support.

    • The .35 Remington is going to be iffy. It would require a good solid action and bushed firing pins. It’s possible for guns along the lines of a Browning BSS or NEF-SB2 frame, with similar strength. Same as .30-30, or better yet, .303 British, which I would pray for. But again, strictly for similar actions with bushed pins. One thing that would sell like crazy and stay well within pressure limits is the Black Powder Express chamberings, in 12ga. they would have to be (.450 3 1/4″ and under). In 10ga., one could go up of course. But if 12 only, the .450 3 1/4″ in black powder or nitro-for-black would have angels singing for the black powder cartridge community.

      Reply
      • Hi David, love the blackpowder cartridge idea by the way. The 35 rem would work great it has Slightly less press than a 44 mag with a slightly smaller rim thrust. So a action like the sb-1 would work if it has the smaller firing pin , most sb-1 do. Some 45-90 and 100 BP would be cool as well😉

          • Hi, From the feedback I have received they work well with lower pressure rounds for example, 45 LC, 45 ACP, 38sp, 380, 32 Long, 22Lr, 22mag and most 9mm. However I would NOT recommend them for rifle rounds such as 7.62, 30-30, 35 rem.
            Thanks,

            Chad

          • Just head out to your local pawn shop or gun shop and get an old H&R,NEF or any other old used shotgun from the 60’s, 70’s or 80’s.. those are at least made with real metal unlike most new ones that use feather weight new age pot metal

    • When will .410 centerfire adapters be available again?

I’m interested in the .357 Max adapters, would give me a reason to reload for it.

For future product suggestions I think rifle chamber adapters is a good idea as there’s none consistently available. I’m not a fan of the rimfire adapters, I’m sure they’d sell well for .223, but what would really turn heads is a 5.7×28 adapter for .223/5.56 rifles. For .30 caliber rifles, .327 would be appealing, but also .30 Super Carry. Offer them in a variety of rifle chamberings, not just the typical .308 and .30-06. There are a lot of rifles out there in .30-30, .303, .30-40, 7.62x54r, etc. that owners would be interested in some cheap, lower power/noise factory pistol ammo.

          • Good Afternoon, making the some of the 410 adapters (9mm, 357 and 327) is a good deal more complicated and time consuming because of the required thin wall thickness. We do hope to be able to make them again sometime this year but it will not be a priority as other adapters that we can make in a timely manner are in demand. Also making these at an affordable price has made it necessary to redesign some things. Thank you for your interest and I’m sorry it couldn’t be sooner.

            Chad

          • Afternoon Chad,

As a connoisseur of your fine products, I understand your production priorities. The respect I’ve gained for your products, fuels my burning desire for one of your eighteen-inch 9mm or 327 .410 adapters. I will have to take solace in that there may be a light at the end of this tunnel.
I realize we .410res are a minority among shotgunners, but we have a boundless desire for your quality products.

            Robert

          • Thanks Robert, We are going to try to the 410 to 9mm and 327 happen this year. We really appreciate your input.

          • Temporarily discontinued: Because of design issues, we will not be making these adapters anytime in the near future. However, we are going to keep the waitlist open for them and send notifications if we do produce them again.

            Chad

          • You know it’s not nice to make a grown man cry, Chad. But all joking aside, as I was taught long ago, it is what it is.

        • Well raise the price. The boys and gurls with survival guns need them

          • I am also a .410 fan, would very much like a .32 S&W Long adapter in any length, preferably 11″. The .327 adapter would work, but I’ll only ever be using .32 S&W/L as I load my own ammo and anything more powerful defeats my idea of the purpose. The 9×19 in a .410 might be useful too, but not as much so and probably very loud.

  16. Hi there.

We’ve come across some nice conditioned old school Polish flare pistols. We see you have a listing for adapting them down to the more common 12 gauge flares you find nowadays. Just curious when you think the next time you’ll have these in stock? We were hoping to get a couple pistols fitted for when we hit the frozen lakes for ice fishing this winter.

  17. Still waiting for your 410 products production to see some equal attention?

Still waiting for any of the arms manufacturers to give 410 users as much attention in production of products as the 12 ga. owners. The red headed step children are getting disillusioned with the arms industry as a whole in shorted production and over priced products. The pandemic is over and this is getting very old very quick.

    • Hi Dan (and all)
old .410 fan here too, my first firearm growing up. Of all the various shortages we’ve been through since ~2008 along with the deluge of new (ho-hum) cartridges, I can’t remember anything disappearing as fast and hard as .410 and especially 3″ shells. 2.5″ was rare 40 years ago, and now I don’t think anyone makes 3″. These inserts are just what I’ve been looking for, and I’m not alone. The little shotgun is very popular where I’m from, and the ammo versatility these days would make it more so. –Jamey S

  20. Will you guys make a 7.62×39 adapter again? I want a proper rifle caliber adapter, but 45-70 costs $2.50 a round. 7.62×39 is only $.35 a round. I know .223 is cheaper but .223 uses small primers, which seem to not play nice with larger shotgun firing pin holes. Also 7.62×39 operates at a lower pressure; 51k vs 55k or 62K for NATO spec 5.56.

            -Chad

          • The future forecast for 9mm-410 18” adapters is truly disheartening. When we spoke in the spring you projected them for end of the year/early new year. I truly didn’t get a warm/fuzzy felling on 38sp forecast either…

  31. Good Afternoon, We are almost finished with the 20ga to 45 caliber adapters in Long Colt, ACP and LC/410. Hopefully we can list them this Saturday 12-11. We should also have some 45 caliber Liners ready also. Thank you all for your business and support and we hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!

  32. Hopefully you will be making more long .44 caliber barrels (or a slower twist 45). The .44 cal I have on my Airgun worked pretty good a couple weekends ago.

I took a deer at 50 yards using AIR and a 310 grain Lee bullet that I cast.
The barrel length at about 27″ helps it reach about 310 FPE.

    Please check out the video
    https://youtu.be/ipDxYnsqydE

Sorry I have posted a couple comments on here because I don’t see any other airgun content. These bare liners are what is used due to lower pressure. Makes it easier than using a traditional blank 😉

    Thanks!

      – Will your adapter be compatible with a the 12 ga , 3.5 inch chamber?
      – If no, are you planning to manufacture adapters for 3.5 inch chambered shotguns, such as Browning Citori, CZ Swamp and Reaper, TrisStar Magii that are getting popularity because of magnum chambers?
      – I am interested in a larger caliber adapter for my new 3.5 inch 12 ga over/under shotgun. Are you planning to manufacture 308 Win (7.61×51) or even 30-06 adapters?
      – If yes, what would be the length, weight and price for the 308 or 30-06 adapters compatible with 3.5inch 12 ga shotguns?

Which are you more likely to make first — 22lr for 410, or 22lr for 12ga? I mean the longer ones (at least 11 inches)? Has anyone tested the accuracy of shooting a 22 bullet through a 22lr barrel that is within a 410 barrel that is within a 12ga barrel (adapter within adapter)? Thank you.

      • Good Afternoon Mr. Wicklund. Using the 410 to 22lr adapter in a 12ga to 410/45lc adapter should work with a little modification. You would need to use something on the muzzle end to build it up a bit to keep it snug. The 22lr adapter is designed to fit. (.410) dia. whereas the bore on the 12ga adapter is going to be around (.445). I do not know at this time which we will be making first, also I have not tested in this setup or had any feedback of anyone that has. Hope I will a little help.

    • FedArm SS-12 is a great value. Imported from Turkey, folds in half, 20″ cylinder bore, stainless receiver. I’ve used mine exclusively with Chaszel adapters. Never actually fired a shotshell from it. No issues with 18″ adapters in 9mm, .45ACP and .327 Federal. Also 5″ adapter in .327, no issues. Check out FedArm’s site and order to ship to your FFL. It’s like an upscale Hatfield with a more reasonable barrel length for getting into adapters.

I used my SS-12 recently and shot over a chronograph comparing 1.87″ LCR vs 5″ adapter vs 18″ adapter and ran the gamut from .32 S&W short up to .327 Federal. That 18″ Chaszel adapter makes a HUGE difference in velocity (and, thus, energy) for every round in the .32 family.

Do you have a ballpark estimate of when the 410 adapters will be back in stock, such as the 410 to .38spl, 410 to .22, etc.
    Thank you!

  50. Is there a chance you could add a “Notify Me” button for out of stock items? I know that next up for me is 12ga -> .357Mag/.38spl in 18″ rifled. Definitely want to know when it drops so I don’t miss out.

PS: Got a chronograph for myself and went out last Saturday to an outdoor range. Had a blast testing rounds from the .32 family (.32ACP, .32 S&W Long, .32 H&R Mag, .327 Fed Mag). 1.87″ LCR vs Chaszel 5″ rifled adapter vs Chaszel 18″ rifled adapter comparison for a wide variety of rounds. People are fascinated by what I can do with “Thumper” (my FedArm SS12) and your adapters. I always talk your product up for quality and value + lots of grins to use. Hope I’m steering some customers your way.

        • Good Afternoon, The reason It will most likely be fall is that we have other products that have been out of stock for some time that we have had a lot of request for. We will be listing more of the 18″ soon.

Would like to also have a 41 magnum and a 10mm auto/40SW barrel insert for my 20ga in 18” length if possible! Thanks again

  54. Hi- I have a 24 inch encore 12 ga rifled slug barrel. I like to get a 410 insert for it for turkey hunting. My questions, 1. Can a 24 inch 410 insert be purchased? 2. Are they able to be tapped for screw in chokes?, and 3. Can TSS be shot through them? Sorry for all the questions im just searching for my best option before I spend any money. Thanks for you time.

    • Good afternoon, We do not have a 24″ version at the moment. Next time we make them we do plan on making a 24 and 28 inch version also however it will be later in the year before we do so. I am not sure what size tap is used for a 410 choke. TSS shot should work fine out of this adapter. Thank you for your interest.

Any experience with these shotguns to know whether your adapter will fit? Or can I use my pump shotgun by removing the barrel to install the adapter?

      • Good Afternoon Mr. Smith, It will be this fall before we are able to start working on the 12ga – 45 Colt. That adapter should work well with the nomad 12 gauge. I don’t have any experience with using adapters with a pump. Thank you for your interest.

      • @ Don Smith, Chamber adapters vs pump can risk damage to your extractor.

I’ve gotten great mileage out of my choice for running Chaszel adapters, the FedArm SS-12. You may want to take a look at that one. Another import from Turkey. 20″ barrel, 3″ chamber and a stainless receiver. Folds in half neatly. Possibly made in the same factory(s) as the Nomad. I’ve used 18″ x 9mm, 18″ x .45ACP, 18″ x .327 Federal and 5″ x .327 with no issues whatsoever. Cheers.

This run of adapters are all 18″ chambered in two calibers. The 327 Federal and the 30-30 win. For the past 2 weeks we have been working on 12 gauge 45-70 Adapters in 18 and 24″ lengths. If all goes well we hope to have them ready in about a month from now. Thanks to everyone for your continued interest and support it is greatly appreciated.

Will you add threading as an option? Such as threaded 22lr or 45acp.
There could be a market for suppressors which fit inside a 12 gauge.

I have been using your 410 to 38sp both 5in and recently your 18in. 18in 38sp insertion is of no problem, and dang they work very well “I LIKE IT” sure others will too. My question of though concerning we don’t know the measurements or have a way to measure if and or how much a tappered barrel could be, though I using the 38sp X 18in Adapter,.. (my question) -do you think your 410 to 9mm Luger would work for me too? I have been waiting on your list for your production and I’m ready to place my order now that you have them available. Whatya think?

Also; wondering if you intend on having 410 to 22 Hornet adapters anytime at all or soon? (I’ll take two for sure) and my group/friends would likem too..

Anyways, please let me know about the 9mm my question. (I think if I can fit the 38spX18 with no problem, that I’ll be able to use your 9mm adapter as well.

    Thanks for Everything

    • Yes, We have a Midland that we use for testing. We do not recommend using these for high pressure rounds. However rounds such as 45LC, 45ACP, 410, 44 Special, 380, 38sp, 9mm, 32 Long, 32 Acp, 22lr and 22wmr have worked fine with the Midland.

      • I’m looking for an inexpensive break action which can handle higher pressure. What do you recommend? I almost bought a midland backpack because they claim to be strong.

I have a CZ hammer coach. Do you recommend that for higher pressure?
It would make an interesting double 45-70, firing 45-70 blackpowder or “cowboy” rounds.

We have a Midland that we have tested with and form our testing it did not puncture the primer (which is the issue) on the 45-70 although it did deform the primer so I can not recommend it. The Shotgun we have used for testing is a Braztech made by Taurus MOD.S121280 It has work very well with every thing we have made. We hope to be able to get a list that is compatible soon. I was just on ebay at your store and purchased another 410 to 38 adapter. My dad was impressed so I ordered him one. I really like mine and I’m really looking forward for when you’ll have to 18 inchers (even 12’s) ready in the other calibers especially those in 410 to 22 Hornets , 9mm and 38’s. Hope ya got over your illness to help bring in the new years. Have not seen any updates from you guys so i suppose the rest of us are wondering how everything’s going. (How’s it going?) 70. I’ve bought two of your 18″ rifled .44 Magnum adapters in the last 6 months and was very pleased with both..I put one in a cut down NEF 12 gauge single shot which I sold to help finance another project where I put a rifled 18″ 44 mag adapter in the top barrel of a Browning Citori 12 Gauge over /under shotgun that I cut the barrels down to 20″. I’ll soon be buying another 44 mag adapter to make a double rifle out of my Citori.Your products are of very high quality and the accuracy was very acceptable Have you considered a 7.62 x 39 mm adapter for a 12 gauge? Or a .22 Hornet adapter for a 12 gauge. I’d be very interested in buying both if they ever come on the market. I belong to quite a few Facebook hunting and outdoors sites and I’ve mentioned your products quite a bit. Have you noticed any increase in sales ? Lol !! It’s amazing the people out there who have never heard of chamber adapters. As for me, I’m hooked !!

  71. Im going to need advice for my 12G.

I want to buy 9mm and .22 adapters. If I have an 18.5 or 20 inch 12G barrel, should I not take an 18 inch adapter because of the adapter muzzle being so close to the 12G muzzle? I understand that a longer adapter is more accurate and speedy but right at the muzzle of the 12G may negatively effect accuracy. Or it wont matter?

Also, in .22 adapters, if I recall, 1:16 twist rate is considered normal for a .22 rifle. You offer 1:12 and 1:18. Higher twist rate is more accurate, yes no? How do I decide? Also, if I take a magnum adapter, i assume I can also fire LR from it? Thanks.

    Reply
    • From all the testing we have done we have seen no adverse affects from having the end of the insert close to the end of the shotgun barrel. For the 22 cal we only chamber the shorter adapters with a 1-12 twist the Longer adapters have a 1-18 twist. The button we have is actually a 1-16 twist although it works out at 1-18″. a 22 LR will normally fire out of a magnum but could possibly miss fire due to the chamber being to large. Hope this helps and that you have a Merry Christmas.

      • Ok, fair enough, thank you. Also, since in the site you mention only a slight difference in FPS with the longest .45 adapter, would you say that would be true of the difference between 11 and 18 adapters in other calibers? It seems that so much is being accomplished with an 11 already, im trying to justify taking 18s. Help?

        Reply
        • The FPS increase from 11 to 18 Inch will vary according to the round. For instance a 9mm will only increase about 30 fps whereas a 357 will be 100+ fps. In my opinion it just comes down to preference. Hope this helps.

Many people bought these cool little handguns, along with the cheap surplus ammo. I believe, that many, many, people, would second, this pick. I wonder how that round would perform, screaming out of that 18 incher?

  73. I have a shortened scoped H&R topper 20 gauge that I think would be really nifty to use as a 38-55/.375 Win. Legal for deer in Iowa now as is 45-70, and .444 Marlin. 18″ barrel would be fine. 11″ would do. My shots deer hunting are usually quite close from a tree stand. Do some experimenting with .444 Marlin too. I would prefer that over 45-70. Can you fire 44-40 in a .444 Marlin chamber?
